Peter Wellings and the Coaching Cricket Excellence team are committed to the principle that all children should have the opportunity to play cricket regardless of their background or financial situation.
To this end Coaching Cricket Excellence may be able to sponsor children on its coaching schemes who otherwise might not be in a position to take part.
Coaching Cricket Excellence is particularly keen to encourage and enable boys and girls from inner city backgrounds, or children who have no cricket club local to them.
Dear Peter,This is just a note to say a big thank you for your support for cricket in deprived parts of the world. To date I have received 15 cricket bats, 6 pairs of pads, 15 balls in good condition, 8 pairs of gloves, some shirts and a kit bag. I will be flying out to Trinidad in January 2007 to distribute the gear amongst 3 schools at least. I am very grateful for the contribution of parents and children from both Coaching Cricket Excellence and Ealing Cricket Club in this venture.
