ECC/CCE Tour Of Uganda
The players and coaches involved with Ealing CC and Coaching Cricket Excellence are touring Uganda in November 2009. The squad will be playing 4 matches in all including 2 games against the Ugandan National team as well as running coaching camps with a whole range of children and adult cricketers. The tour will also provide the opportunity to go and teach in Ugandan schools for those amongst the touring party who are qualified teachers.
A squad of around 15 is expected to take part in the tour and each person travelling will be taking in excess of 45kg of free cricket kit with them to distribute to schools and clubs in Uganda. We''ll be asking for donations of equipment from Ealing CC members and Coaching Cricket Excellence clients to ensure we take the maximum amount of kit possible later this year.
Don't forget that Ram Cricket are also supporting this venture in that for every purchase made from Ram, they'll give 10% of the purchase value to the Ram Ugandan Cricket Fund.
